For people with difficulty walking and those who use wheelchairs or other movement supports we have ensured the following:
- All areas for this event, aside from the Solo soundwalk path, are accessible by walker and wheelchair.
- Accessible toilets are available at the celebration site in the IOG football club house.
- Due to path conditions, only Group Soundwalk tickets are accessible to wheelchair users.
- If you require an accessible pickup from one of the provided shuttle buses, please let us know via e-mail so we can ensure the right bus is there for your pick up time. Should you prefer to use your own vehicle, a limited number of accessible parking spaces will be available at both Affair Park and Chelsworth Park, please email us at email@example.com to arrange a space.
Nearest accessible train station is Ivanhoe Station, one of our complimentary shuttle bus stops servicing this event.
For people who have difficulty following spoken word or are hard of hearing, all of the events thematic and safety information, as well as all stories told, will be available in print or presented with sur-titles.
Group soundwalks are 650m long, roughly 5 - 7 minutes.
Solo soundwalks are 950m long, roughly 10 - 12 minutes.
Assistant dogs are welcome and there are multiple areas available within Wilson Reserve and Chelsworth Park for dog spending/rest. Unfortunately, pets that do not provide assistance or support are not able to attend the event.
Children are welcome, this is a family friendly event. However, the Solo soundwalk is for those aged 16 and over to account for its unnerving qualities. Tickets for children under the age of 16 are free, though booking is still essential.
While this event is an outdoor and spoken word experience, we are doing everything we can to meet any accessibility needs. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
